Gosaikunda Langtang Valley Trekking Via Sundarijal

Gosaikunda Langtang Trekking trail begins in Sundarijal conservation area, the gateway to the Langtang region, which is not very far from the Kathmandu Valley. From Sundarijal, we hike along a trail that does not require much climbing because it does not reach an elevation of more than 3600m. Helambu Trekking is one of the finest trail to explore the Tamang and Sherpa culture with the scenic mountains view such as Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Lakpa Dorje etc.

As many tourists choose to trek in the more popular Everest and Annapurna regions, this trail remains uncrowded. The trail passes through the beautiful Helambu region, through scattered Sherpa and Tamang villages. The trail along the Langtang region has plenty of tea houses/lodges and many of its inhabitants earn their livelihood from tourism. Helambu Trekking give us the chance to hike in the second largest conservation National park observing by one thousand species of flora and fauna with different species of birds and animals such as Himalayan Thar, ghoral, Musk Deer, Bengal Tiger, Rhino, pigeon, etc. Helambu Trekking is the best season to visit for March to Mayand September to December but it can be arrange as your timetable and your requirement for the whole year.

The highlights of the Langtang, Gosainkunda and Helambu trek are numerous, however. The main attractions of this trek are the grand forests of rhododendrons and bamboo, splendid waterfalls flowing over massive boulders, a chance to bathe in relaxing hot springs, magnificent views of the snow capped giant Langtang Lirung (7,200m/23,622ft) and visiting the holy lakes of Gosainkunda among others.
