Kanchenjunga Trekking

Kanchenjunga lies eastern part of Nepal; name is given by the third highest world peak Kanchenjunga 8598 meter above sea level. It is situated between Nepal and India as a border line. This trekking represents great glorious peaks of Mt. Kanchenjunga and scenic variety as well as cultural diversities of the ethnic group.  It gives you a chance to see numerous wild animals such Red Panda and different vegetation. This trek is moderately strenuous as high as 5143m challenging passes. However the region provides you through passes landscape of rice field to glacier with interesting and pleasure and Blooming Rhododendron in seasonal {March-May}.

The facilities are limited for the trekkers, this is why-to be needed camp/tent organizing. This region can be trek in once the both side of Kanchenjunga north and south. This itinerary made for both face trekking.  This route starts from Basantapur. By the way, if you are just going to trek to south base camp , it starts from the airstrip of Suketar.

Day 02.  Details information and  basic preparation about  the trip

Day 03. Fly to Biratnagar and drive to Basantapur(2200m)

Day 04.  Basantapur  to Chauki (2680m)

Day 05. Chauki to Gupa Pokhari (2890m)

Day 06. Gupa Pokhari to Nesum (1620m)

Day 07. Nisum to  Mitlung(880m}

Day 08. Mitlung  to Chirwa (1190m)

Day 09. Chirwa to Sekhatum (1640m)

Day 10. Sekhatum  to Amjilasa ((2490m)   

Day 11. Amjilasa to Gyabla (2730m)

Day 12. Gyabla to Ghunsa (3410m)

Day 13. Acclimatisation

Day 14. Ghunsa to Khambachen(4150m)

Day 15. Khambachen to Lhonak (4790m)

Day 16. Hiking to the Panpema(5143m) come back to Lonak for night 

Day 17. Lonak to Ghunsa (3410m) 

Day 18. Ghunsa to Selele(4110m) 

Day 19. Selele to Tseram(3870m)

Day 20. Tseram to Ramche(4620m)

Day 21. Ramche to Torontan(2990M}

Day 22. Torontan to Yamphudin(1690m)

Day 23. Yamphudin to Tellok(1502m

Day 24. Tellok to Sinam Panchami(765m)

Day 25. Sinam to Tharpu(891m)

Day 26. Tharpu Drive to Bhadrapur hotel
