Normally, you can start this trek from Lukla. For this, you have to in by flight into Everest region; if you fly, you will be above 2800 meters above sea level that will be your starting point for this region trek. There is another scenery trekking trail to be trek to the Everest region. For which, your starting point should be from Jiri. You need to drive from Kathmandu for the Jiri. If you fallow this route, the duration will be a week more than Lukla.
